The new 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine will generate 168 bhp of power and 280 Nm of torque. It can be introduced with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This engine will provide great performance on the highway and will also provide smooth driving experience in the city’s traffic conditions.
Electric variants of Tata Sierra will also be entered
Tata Motors is not only limited to the turbo petrol engine, but is also fully prepared to strengthen its hold in the electric segment. The company is planning to launch Tata Harrier and Safari’s electric variants. The Tata Harrier EV was showcased at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025, making it clear that the vehicle could enter the market in the coming days.

Tata Motors has not yet officially announced the launch date of Tata Harrier and Safari Turbo Petrol variants. However, it is believed that these vehicles may come to the market by the end of this year or in early 2025. At the same time, Tata Sierra (both petrol and EV variants) are likely to be launched by the end of 2025.
